Milena Radević

Milena Radevic’s son Ivan was killed on December 14, 1998 at the cafe Panda in Pec/Pejë, together with his five friends Zoran, Vukota, Svetislav, Ivan and Dragan. Ivan was the eldest, 25 years old. The youngest boy killed was 14 years old. Six months after that fateful event, her husband Bogdan Radevic was kidnapped. Milena was abused and thrown out of her family home. She barely escaped being lynched by residents of the street where she had lived for 30 years. “I am an expelled person, with no address, my only address is my cell phone number,” she said during her testimony at the Fourth Forum for Transitional Justice held in Pristina on October 28-29, 2008.
