Slobodan Pejovic was a police inspector in Herceg Novi at the time when Bosniaks were being deported from Montenegro. The vast majority of people taken away by force in May 1992 to Bosnia and Herzegovina was killed. Slobodan Pejovic testified before the High Court in Montenegro in the trial for these war crimes, and in civil proceedings for material compensation of the families of deported Bosniaks. All of the accused were acquitted of war crimes. Families were given material reparations from the government of Montenegro.
