The Past Guides the Future: First 5 Years

The film focuses on the first five years of the RECOM consultative process from a more intimate, more emotional perspective. Participants who met in many cities across the region to discuss the future of RECOM became friends in the meantime. In this film, the talk about their experiences and adventures during the first five years of the RECOM process, which started on May 5, 2006.

For me, the initiative to establish a regional commission is a very brave and daring idea, the true significance of which lies in the process itself. We managed to bring together the people who have had different experiences during the war, and who have different needs and different expectations today.
